JENIFER’S DIARY “CLEANING JOB”

After escaping from Madam Tina (the woman who took Jenifer and Adaku to America promising to make them work in a hairdressing saloon but in actual sense wants to use them for prostitution), Toyosi (Toyo baby), who is in Nigeria connected the two (Jenifer and Adaku) to her fiancé’s elder sister (aunty Sunbo). She gladly took them in, they were also warmly welcome by her husband and their only daughter. Adakus’ act soon sold her off as she consumed a lot of food including food stuffs meant for aunty sunbo's daughter.

Jenifer and Adaku escaped with two small bags containing some makeup kits and some money in Jenifer’s bag, their other belongings including their passports and Jenifer’s diary which had been seized by Madam Tina are in her house.
The two decided to do some cloth shopping since they have only one cloth; the cloth they wore when they escaped. They were almost caught by police officers as a result of lack of identity however, they manage to escape. Aunty Sunbo soon found out that the two initially had no place to go, she then offered them a cleaning job with a pay of 10pounds per day, and she introduced them to Mr. Collins (an employee of the cleaning job).

Getting to know the nature of the job which requires them to move from one place to another and acknowledging the fact that it is very risky due to lack of identity and more so they are not ready to go back to Nigeria, they were forced to tell their employer about their ordeal with Madam Tina and how she seized their passport. She however, promised to help them to regain the passports.

Mrs. Tina continued with her illegal business as usual but she got into an unprecedented trap. A cop disguised as a normal guy that wants to have fun with ladies got in contact with Madam Tina, meanwhile Sharon who is one of the ladies lured into the business by Madam Tina was seen in front of a house where she was giving her passport alongside that of Jenifer and Adaku in a back bag by a man. Madam Tina came in to meet the guy where he sat in the living room, she then called on the girls that were available for business as usual at that time but the guy stood up and instruct other police officers who had already surrounded the house to come in. Madam Tina was arrested alongside with her clients and the ladies working for her.

While in the police vehicle, “this is not the end” Madam Tina said.
